HORSESHOE BEND

God's glorious creation in jaw-dropping panoramic view at Horseshoe Bend in Page, Arizona. We were on a whirl-wind trip for our daughter's Senior year trip and she had always wanted to go to Horseshoe Bend and the Slot Canyons. We camped at a nearby campground in Page. I took this picture from the deck overlooking the canyon....I'm shocked it's in focus since I was shaking like a leaf!

Horseshoe Bend is a horseshoe-shaped incised meander of the Colorado River located near the town of Page, Arizona, United States. It displays Navajo Sandstone and is also referred to as the "east rim of the Grand Canyon". Many people ask what makes the water such a gorgeous turquoise color - dissolved calcium carbonate in the water.

ZION RANCH

Zion Ranch is located just outside of Manhattan, Kansas and is our green pastures and quiet waters. We hope you will enjoy this artwork as much as we have enjoyed creating it. The ranch was 10 acres of natural prairie pasture when we purchased it with the goal to use it to bring glory to God.

JELLY FISH

This picture will forever be a battle of "who took it, Jay or Mary?" We were in Florida hanging out on the beach and "somebody" took this image.....okay, let's just agree that Jay took this picture. Regardless, it's a masterpiece of detail and amazement at God's beautiful creativity.

TIGER

The tiger's gaze is both powerful and gentle, reflecting an untamed spirit. I took this picture while on a trip to the Colorado Springs Zoo with the grandkids.

The picture exudes a magnetic charm that draws you in with curiosity for this awesome animal.

SLOT CANYONS

The Slot Canyons belonging to the Navajo Nation are located near Page, Arizona, USA, and are a watershed of sand and multiple narrow slots with steep walls. We were on a whirl-wind trip for our daughter's Senior year trip and she had always wanted to go to Horseshoe Bend and the Slot Canyons. The world-famous slots bearing this name are visually and geographically stunning.

SLEEPING SANTA

"Twas the day after Christmas, and all through the house, Santa was snoring, sharing crumbs with a mouse."

One of my most favorite edits I've done! I had hired Santa to come for Christmas Sessions and on a break I asked him to rest on the couch so I could take his picture.
